Welcome to my new blog page. It's been long overdue.

There are some new things happening at Medallion Toolworks I am quite excited about! In addition to the introduction of a 16 inch Tenon saw, the dovetail saw has been redesigned to what I hope is a more functional tool.

The intention was to introduce the new items much earlier this summer but I suffered a rather severe hand injury back in May. I almost lost my baby finger on my right hand (My dominant hand!) and recovery is still in progress. The finger and hence the flexibility of the hand will never be 100% as I sheared off the ball of the second knuckle. But, I am able to get back in the shop and making some progress into the backlogs.

To those who have been waiting so patiently for their order, I want to thank you very much for your patience and kind words! I am very grateful for your understanding and support.

Ed, It's great to hear that you are back in action. Your saws are beautiful and I'm anxious to hear what you have to say about them on your new blog.

Hi Mike, Thank you very much for visiting and the kind comments! I am grateful I can still make saws although much slower than before! I will try to post more entries in the future about new products... Now, back to the shop! Regards, Ed
